Will the five-member national selection committee choose to spring in a surprise and include in-form Yuvraj Singh in the squad for the ICC World Cup next month when they meet in Mumbai on Tuesday?

Yuvraj, who was not named even in the preliminary list of 30 probables on December 4 last year, has since come back into contention by smashing three back-to-back hundreds against Haryana, Maharashtra and Saurashtra in the ongoing Ranji Trophy.

The 15-member team for the World Cup 2015 is likely to comprise eight batsmen – including MS Dhoni and a reserve wicketkeeper – and seven bowlers.

According to espncricinfo, Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav are set to be picked for this year’s World Cup. Full Coverage

The ICC rules also do not debar the selectors from changing their minds and including a player who was not in the original list of probables, according to BCCI sources.

Hindustan Times asked its readers to vote for their favourite cricketers for the World Cup squad.

Here’s a look at the top 15 players selected by them:
